I’m Louise Reilly-Jenkinson, founder of R&R Martial Arts and a lifelong student of martial arts.

I began kickboxing at age 12 and quickly found my passion for the discipline, structure, and confidence it gave me. By 13, I had earned my orange belt and secured a place on the WKA British Squad, going on to win Cadet Student of the Year and compete at the 2000 World Championships in Vienna. I even had the honour of meeting the Mayor.

I trained under Cobra Martial Arts, and I’m proud to continue that legacy today. Looking back over 25 years, I now realise that Andrew Morrell — President of the Cobra Martial Arts Association — was far more than a coach. He was a mentor who shaped my discipline, confidence, and values both inside and outside the dojo.

A special thank you to Andrew for his belief, guidance and high standards — I hope the lessons he instilled in me shine through in the way I support and train others.

Like many people, my journey hasn’t been straightforward. I’ve faced personal challenges that tested me mentally and physically — and martial arts played a huge role in rebuilding my strength, confidence and balance. It’s now my mission to offer that same support and empowerment to others.

Outside the dojo, my background includes working as a personal trainer, studio instructor, ambulance service crew member, and GP healthcare assistant. These roles taught me how to support people through some of their toughest moments — and that compassion carries into every class I teach.

At R&R Martial Arts, we stand for two core values:

Resilience & Respect.

Because martial arts isn’t just about punches and kicks — it’s about confidence, community, and learning to rise, no matter what life throws at you.

I look forward to welcoming you to our club, supporting your journey, and watching you grow stronger — inside and out.

“I don’t just teach kickboxing — I teach resilience. Every class is a chance to grow stronger inside and out"
